Account Administrator (Remote)

Position Overview
Synchrony Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Administrator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical to maintaining the efficiency of our client accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing exceptional administrative support to both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account records in company databases and CRM systems
- Process account updates, changes, and documentation in a timely manner
- Monitor account statuses and flag any discrepancies or issues for resolution
- Prepare and distribute regular account reports and summaries to stakeholders
Client Communication & Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries related to account administration
- Respond to client requests via email, phone, and video conferencing platforms
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues and fulfill requests
- Maintain professional and courteous communication in all client interactions
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all account documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements
- Organize and maintain digital filing systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness
- Assist with account audits and compliance reviews as needed
- Prepare contracts, agreements, and other account-related documents
Data Entry & Reporting
- Perform accurate data entry and validation across multiple systems
- Generate reports on account metrics, activity, and performance
- Identify trends and provide insights to improve account management processes
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company information
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to support account needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for workflow improvements
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
- Stay current on company policies, procedures, and system updates
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in account administration, customer service, or related administrative role
- Experience working in a remote environment is a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to accuracy
- Comfortable learning new software and digital tools quickly
